Gloria Estefan

Gloria Estefan born on September 01. 1957 on Havana, Cuba.
To a Cuban couple, Jose and Gloria Fajaro.

Gloria Estefan holds a B.A. Psycohology degree.
She have been in the music industry since 1977.

Gloria is married to Emilio Estefan who was the
band leader of "The Miami Sound Machine", the band Gloria
joined and started her music career.
Emilio is also world wide known for being a great music producer.
The Estefans have been several times invited to
The White House by different presidents.
Gloria is also a song writer and an actress.

The Estefans have two children, Nayib a son,
and a younger daughter Emiliy Marie.

Gloria Estefan impacted the world making a crossover
from the latin music industry to the American music industry,
with the song "Conga" the music hit that had people world wide
singing and dancing to the conga.

She have sold over Ninety Millions ablums.
She have won Seven Grammy Awards.

Back on 1990, her tour bus was in a accident where Gloria
was greatly injured and haded to received therapys and
basicly she had to learned how to walk again after a very
dangerous surgery.
Soon after her accident, she wrote and sang a song title:
"Coming Out of The Dark" this song was very personal to her,
how she came out of the dark during those tough times.

The Estefans also played a big role of help during
the aftermath of Hurricane Andrew, The hurricane
that past through Miami, Florida and left great damages.

The Estefans lives at Star Island in Miami Beach, Florida.

Gloria Estefan have many music hits in both the Latin and American
music world.
Few of these hits are: "Anything for You", "Conga" "Get on Your Feets",
"No Sera Facil", "Oye Mi Canto", "Coming Out of The Dark"'.
