Gluten-Free Super Bowl Party

Rachel Thomae
The Super Bowl is rapidly approaching, and as it gets closer, it's time to plan the party. If you're sensitive to gluten like I am, you know that many traditional Super Bowl snacks may be off limits. However, the good news is that you can create an entire Super Bowl spread with foods that are naturally gluten free-and if you want to serve beer, you can pick up both regular and gluten free varieties!

Here's an easy gluten-free Super Bowl party menu for six-just double quantities for a bigger group. The items I've listed below are generally gluten-free, but make sure that you ALWAYS double-check your labels to make sure that you or a gluten-free guest won't get sick. If you're making a mix of foods for your party, make sure to keep the gluten-containing foods (like breads and crackers) separate from the rest of the food.

Desert

Make Your Own Sundae Bar

Stock the sundae bar with: chocolate and vanilla ice cream, chopped nuts, chocolate chips, chocolate and caramel toppings, marshmallows, and any other gluten-free topping of your choice.

Note: If you're adding non-gluten free items, keep those items separate and make sure your guests don't mix serving spoons.
