Glycerin in Vaccines

Glycerin is a humectant, it bonds with water molecules. It is also a preservative to many virus' which is why you find glycerin in vaccines. It is one of the safer ingredients I've found in vaccines reading on the moderate scale of toxicity to humans, with a potential of causing kidney damage in chronic exposures. One specific danger occurred when China falsified records and released Diethylene Glycol to Panama which resulted in 100 fatalities due to poisoning.

In spite of the fact that Glycerin is one of the least toxic, it can cause burning or skin irritation, respiratory irritation if vapors are breathed, and once again, injection is not on the menu of test ran to understand the toxicity of chemicals in vaccines.

Adverse reactions were hard to find, however if you go to drugs.com, (http://www.drugs.com/ppa/glycerin-glycerol.html), toward the bottom of the page is a list of potential adverse reactions. None of which seem life threatening with the exception of Cardiac Arrhythmias.

Glycerin is most commonly associated with suppositories and glycerin soap, however it is used in some foods to help hold moisture in, as well as being used in some liqueurs to make them thicker. It is a sweet tasting clear liquid with a somewhat oily or slimy feel to it, its consistency is more like that of motor oil than water.
