GM Confirms 2011 Z28 Camaro is on the Way Get Ready for the 2011 Z28 Camaro

GM has confirmed that the 2011 Z28 is going to happen, and for a Camaro freak like me it's great news.

So far there are a lot of spy photos of the 2011 Z28 Camaro, and it look great, coupled with what I have read about the engine that will be installed in it, I can't wait.

The engine for the Z28 Camaro is supposedly going to be the 556 HP, 551 FTLB of torque supercharged Cadillac CTS-V engine. If this is true this car will leave it's competition in the dust, watch out Mustang and Challenger, here comes the Z28 Camaro

It will obviously have the same options as the SS when it come to transmissions, since the Z28 is 300 pounds lighter the the CTS-V just think of what it could do with al of that power. The Cadillac CTS-V gave it's German competitors a huge headache.

With the loss in weight you can expect 0-60 times under the four second range, and a top speed of around 194 MPH. Great number come is threes, these numbers are of course with a manual transmission.

The 2011 Z28 Camaro is poised to take the muscle car world by storm, with the only potential bad thing being an $8,000 price in crease, due of course to the supercharger installation.

Chevrolet has stuffed a supercharger under the hood of the new 2011 Z28 Camaro, this obviously means a change in the profile of the hood. It means a bigger cowl hood scoop on the car. That is not a bad thing either, it's about time that Chevrolet brought back that Z28 again.

The 2011 Z28 Camaro will also get a different grille installed in it, supposedly some kind of mesh grille. Chevrolet is also expected to spruce up the badges on the car also, and body enhancements to include a rear bumper upgrade, and a tail lip spoiler.

All of this adds up to one cool car in my book. The 2011 Z28 Camaro will be one of the most wicked muscle cars ever built from the factory. You know that I'm looking forward for this to happen, I almost can't contain myself when it comes to a new Z28 Camaro.

Its expected to still adorn the 20 inch wheels at all four corners, if we're lucky it will get some handling and suspension upgrades also. But even I can't ask for a lot more then that, they are doing a great job on the 2011 Z28 Camaro, just like they did on the 2010 SS Camaro.

This car should carry the Z28 Camaro name very well, it should conquer all that stand before it. So as I said earlier, watch out Mustang, and move aside Challenger here comes the 2011 Z28 Camaro. Be afraid be very afraid.
