But apparently Christina Aguilera doesn't have to worry about competition when it comes to singing the national anthem at sporting events; Joan Rivers went on to joke that Christina Aguilera looks like she could eat Lady Gaga (ouch!).
Joan Rivers' body was also getting plenty of attention during the super bowl thanks to another of those ridiculous Go Daddy commercials. At least the company that always tries to shock with its sexy ads did something different this year by making the piece of work an official Go Daddy girl along with Danica Patrick and Jillian Michaels, but did that smokin' hot body in the commercial actually belong to Joan Rivers?
While she tweeted that the bod in the commercial is the one that plastic surgeons gave her, there aren't any talented enough to do that kind of work. Plus Joan Rivers isn't one to show that much skin; the most I can find her showing is in this photo where she's dressed like Snooki for Halloween. While her body definitely isn't bad for that of a 77-year-old, it actually belonged to a girl that has appeared in a Go Daddy commercial before, model Tabitha Taylor (and Tabitha Taylor needs to learn her lesson from seeing Joan Rivers with her body; she is starting to look a lot like the much-older celeb in the face, as evidenced by this photo).
Joan Rivers wasn't the only celebrity that got a super bowl makeover; Eminem was turned into a pint-sized puppet, while almost-as-tiny Justin Bieber was transformed into a creepy old man with a giant forehead in two of the most popular commercials. So while Christina Aguilera is getting bashed for her national anthem error, some of her fellow musicians are getting praise for their super bowl appearances.
So will Joan Rivers and the rest of the world lay off Christina Aguilera, or will she forever be a joke because of her error? Well, while she can't go back and fix her mistake, she can take comfort in knowing that videos do exist proving that she does know the lyrics.
