St. Jude's Ranch for Children Needs Your Holiday Cards

David Lindberg
Don't throw out those wonderful cards you received during the holidays. The children of St. Jude's Ranch for Children can earn money by removing the fronts of these beautiful cards and make new ones. Over thirty years ago, the children began taking holiday cards and make them into new ones for the next year. It not only became a fun activity, but one by which they can earn some money as well. They now do it for all greeting cards, of any holiday, throughout the entire year.

They currently have an increased need for birthday and thank you cards.

They are accepting used, all-occasion cards from:
November 15, 2009 - February 28, 2010

what a wonderful article, David, I worked for twelve years, having a fundraising every year for St Jude Childrens' Hospital. I enjoyed it so much. My husband died while I was working on my last fundraising. Have regretted that I haven't picked it up since. good work here

Why not get a free '˜Recycler' label that lets you make your greeting cards reusable?

Nice of you to post this, David. I put a link on Examiner for you under the Moon in Aquarius day a few weeks ago, because I advised to do something nice for someone that day, and it reminded me of you.
