The world is shifting to a new ear of Go Green Revolution (GGR). Because of our mother earth's global warming and rising seas issues, not only environmental activists, but everyone has to go green. Our economy had been affected by environmental changes and it had arrived to a point of threatening the well being of humankind. It is even globally unacceptable now to generate economy using mainly fossil fuels since it will seriously damages the environment.

The disaster of the environment had made many countries to realize that their economy activities cannot jeopardize the environment. Many countries are now actively trying to maintain sustainable development by being more environmental friendly. For example, Germany had placed a cap on their CO2 emissions to reduce their greenhouse gas contribution. Brazil is changing to use ethanol where they had successfully changed 40% of their fuel to ethanol with the aim to reduce dependent on oil imported from other countries.

The Democratic Party in the United States has many environmental supporters. If the Democrat wins the presidency, there will be a shift toward green energy policies to support the Go Green Revolution. This will only result in pressuring the global oil and gas companies to invest more on sustainable energy source that will not harm the environment. If this really happen, a large amount of money will flow to the investment of renewable sources of energy and companies that provide those renewable energy will become the next big hit.

Global environmental changes affect us seriously in the way we never imagined. Our future will change tremendously soon to save our earth. This is a bad news for those nations that are not fully prepare to fight for the Go Green Revolution war. Since the competitiveness of a country depend on energy security in the near future, whoever develop the first green renewable energy source will become a dominant power in the globe. This Go Green Revolution provides threats and also opportunities for all industrial nations. The development of a variety of renewable energy sources such as wind, solar, biomass, water and others will be more advanced and enhanced in the future.

In 19th century we talk about the Industrial Revolution, whoever produces the mass amount of products in the shortest period of time wins. In 20th century we talk about the IT revolution where company with the most advanced technology dominant the market. Now, in 21th century, Go Green Revolution is everything.
