The Timber Mill

The Timber Mill, quite aptly named, is one of the most up to date fan sites for Portland Timber's fans to visit. While the layout is rather plain, it has a nice "old-school" feel to it, rather low key but still gets the point across that the Timbers fans are serious about their favorite soccer team! A running schedule of upcoming matches is one the right hand side of the page, and rosters plus results of games can be viewed via the left side of the website, going back all the way to 2001. Currently, the front page shows the disappointment over the Timbers performance against their Vancouver, British Columbia rivals, the Vancouver Whitecaps, during a recent set in Burnaby, B.C. (great city!). Timbers MSL and Timbers U23 team info and news is also updated and posted on this Timber Mill website.

Now, this website certainly won't win any awards for the most eye-catching soccer fan page, but it sure has heart. It also links to many other Portland Timbers fan websites, although at the time of the writing of this article, several of the links were dead or non-functioning. Be sure to visit to see the excellent photos from the recent games, including the ones against the hated rivals, the Vancouver Whitecaps!
Talk Timbers
URL:talktimbers.com
Talk Timbers is the main online forum for discussing the Portland Timber's soccer news, games and info. It has a pretty decent amount of activity, especially for a team that has not yet (although is about to) receive Major League Soccer status. Definitely the place to be for any serious Timber's fans looking for lively discussion on their favorite Pacific Northwest soccer team!

Of course, no serious soccer fan of the Portland Timbers should skip their home page. It's a relatively nicely done website, with lots of great info and schedules for upcoming Timber's events and games. Follow your favorite Timber's soccer players, purchase tickets, and purchase Timber's gear through their main website, at PortlandTimbers.com.
