Goa Trance Party Rocks

Have you ever been to a Goa trance party? Well you should do it at least once in a lifetime. It really rocks. Goa is a beautiful union territory in India famous for trance parties and trance festivals. It has some of the best beaches in India. The beaches are very long and lined up with palm trees. People swim in the nude and listen to rock music.

I was on a vacation to India a couple of months back and one of my friend invited me to a Goa trance party . We rented a small house in a place called Anjuna. The party was arranged in the middle of a forest! As soon as we entered the Goa trance party, we saw hundreds of people wearing dark colored ultraviolet clothes! Their bodies were tattooed and pierced. We saw strange graphical decorations like aliens, religious images, and even mushrooms! There were huge candles all over the place. The atmosphere was strange yet incredible. People kept coming through the night in 350 cc bikes. The music was very fast, loud, unique and sophisticated. It was a mix of melody, electronic and psychedelic sound. The time of the music track varied between 6 minutes and 12 minutes.

We had a few drinks and started to dance. The dancing went on through the night. I couldn't believe that I kept on dancing without getting tired. I felt like I had reclaimed some of my powers that I had lost. The energy levels were very high. It was well past mid night. We continued to dance and felt no pain and I went into a deep trance. I felt like I had been hypnotized. The morning arrived and we were still dancing! We had spicy roasted lobsters and prawns. Finally the party ended at noon.

Wow what an incredible music party. It was more like a festival. We bought some Goa trance music Cd's. Then we headed off to the beach. The beaches are the best places for a Goa music party. Club Tito is a very famous hangout that is situated on the Gaga beach. It has restaurants and a nice discotheque and plays funky music. Club Antoos has a very large dance floor and pub and located in Calangute beach. Club Extreme plays disco music and is situated in Panaji.

Club Cubana is a also a good place to party. Nine bar is also a very famous bar located in Vagator beach. Most of the clubs are located in Anjuna and Vagator area, well known for all night music, drugs and trance music. Goa trance festivals are organized once in a month. These parties play non stop music for 36 hours. Food is very cheap and you will often find local village women selling tea, cigarettes and snacks. Goa trance festivals are held throughout the world including Britain, Germany, Australia and France Never take drugs and dance at the Goa trance party. You could be arrested by the local police and jailed. Drink plenty of water else you may get dehydrated because of the heat. Ignore beggars. Keep the first aid kits handy. Goa trance was a very memorable experience and I want to keep coming back at least once in a year.
