Goal Setting and Goals Realized

Sebastian Thomas
I am a firm believer of setting realistic goals for yourself and to see them through. Realistic goals may include preparing for college, job, project or fulfilling hobby. The results of your goals can be quite rewarding in the end and may push you to do more for yourself, in the act of progression.

Goal-setting ideally involves establishing specific, measurable and time-targeted objectives. Who doesn't want to progress in this life and do better? The measure of belief that people have in their ability to achieve a personal goal also affects that achievement.

As the years go by you find your self continually improving, correcting past errors and actions. You may also find yourself improving the life of your kids as they get older. Giving them great advice that you never received but harshly experienced through life itself. Goals can keep a person going and have something for them to look forward to in the future.

So list a set of goals down on a notepad and start writing them down. Then think about them very carefully and how you can realistically achieve them. No goal is too high or too far reached. So what have you got to lose? Go ahead and set a plan and do it today for it may very well be a missed opportunity to learn and experience something new for yourself today. The sky is the limit so good luck!

Great article. Kids learn by example, so that's good advice.
