Goal Setting Made Easy

Goal Setting

Kurt Evans
A goal is just a statement of what we want. Goals can help guide our actions and assist us in getting what we want out of life.

Goal Setting: First things first

The first thing we come up with; is a goal. Then, we come up with an action plan of all the different steps that we have to take to get there. Every step of the goal requires us to take a certain type of action. Different actions will create different results; so, that's why it's important to be really clear on the actions that you will take in order to get to your goal.

Plan Of Action

When we come up with a plan, it forces us to focus our minds on a goal. We can get creative about this because I'm sure that there's more than one way to reach a goal.

Steps To Success

We can come up with the steps to take and then take them and get to our goal and experience success. Then, since we have succeeded at this one thing; we know that we can accomplish anything that we put our minds to.

Here are some methods that will help you with your goal setting:
1. Post your goals where you can see them on a daily basis. So often we get caught up with living our daily lives that we forget about our goals. Don't let your goals sit at the bottom of a pile on your desk. Get some refrigerator magnets and post your goals on the refrigerator. Read your goals every time that you go to the refrigerator for food.

2. Post your goals on your bathroom mirror. Read them every time you go in the bathroom. Look into your eyes and know that you have what it takes to attain them.

3. Post your goals on the wall by your desk and read them often. Visualize yourself achieving your goals and checking them off the list.

If you are constantly reminded of what your goals are; then you are bound to achieve them sooner or later.

Always remember that the goals are set by YOU. The goals are things that YOU want. If YOU don't like your goals; then, YOU can always change them.
