God Among Us

November 4, 2008 - Independence Day for a New Millenium

Arkay Evans
God's favor
comes to we, the proud, the free,
Founders forth and formed of a common call
to stand down tyranny,
And we, the people,
are delivered deeper,
we navigate through preconceived notions,
and with purpose, take action
to do good among men and women,
patriots we congratulate,
Attending them,
embracing home,
and seen among, a part of one,
the royalty in common good,
Knowing God favors all mankind,
their purpose to do good among them,
preserving rights in this great land,
to bloom in the lives of children, our future,
and that of genteel armed to thrive

And as one, we learn this godly sense,
Though it takes time, it takes time,
We build unto this eloquence,
But it takes time, it takes time,

To start will be the easy part,
and faith renews all good believed
as we press on, faithful forth and
trusting life through pain as we train
great stallions of opportunity,
guided through the greatest chance
to shape and honor this blessed machine,
Restoring the power of men and women,
Citizens of the Earth, and the free,
the sweetest land of liberty
America,
My country,
'tis of thee
