But after they leave this world it is God they'll answer to.
Do not take revenge or hate those that have hurt you
For when they leave this world it is God they'll answer to.
Do not be like others, to God stay righteous and true
For when the others leave this world it is God they'll answer to.
Standing at the gates of Heaven as they see you walk right through
While they are begging, pleading and crying as God they answer to.
Right then and there, they will wish they had been more like you
Rather than being the unbelieving sinner as God they answer to.
If you happen to be the unbelieving sinner, you better get a clue
For you do not want to be stopped at the gate and have God to answer to.
