GOD HATES FAGS !!!!

At just 28 years of age Heath Ledgers passing has shocked and saddened the nation of Australia. however our sadness and feeling of loss has been replaced with Anger and disbelief as the Westboro Baptist church stated that they intend to protest the funeral and memorial service of Heath Ledger.

Why would they want to do this, its simple because Heath Ledger played the role if a gay cowboy in the film Brokeback Mountain, and according to the WBC GOD HATES FAGS.

I was going to write a tribute to my fellow Aussie who's life ended too soon and the grief of the country that I call home after losing "one of our own" but my anger has made that near impossible.

Many Australians have been alerted to the statement made by WBC and are horrified that these people feel it ok to attack and disrespect a man that dedicated his life to entertaining people. The WBC Headed by hate monger and virulent homophobe Fred Phelps is renowned for protesting the funerals of American soldiers amongst others stating that the American army is a an army of fags he was also responsible for protesting the Matthew Shepard funeral.
Matthew Shepard's friends gathered dressed as Angels and successfully blocked the view of Phelps and members of WBC, They became known as Matthews Angels.

The WBC history is one that is disturbing to say the least the founder of the "church" Fred Phelps has no history as a religious man according to one of his sons that managed to leave, the "Church" is located in Topeka Kansas, with a congregation of 70+ members (which consist primarily of Phelps family members) apparently incest and inbreeding is fine with god as members can only marry within the "church". it began in 1955 with the first service held on th 27th November of that year, describes itself as basing its teachings on a primitive Baptist and Calvinist principles, however the Church has no affiliation with the Baptist conventions at all and stands as independent.

WBC preaches gods hatred of, America, Canada, Sweden, The Irish, The British, Roman Catholics, Jews and Muslims ( I am sure that Australia will be joined to that list soon) however it is Homosexuality that the "Church" states is the ultimate sin, and that God hates homosexuals above all other sinners, even going so far at to state that Homosexuality should be made a capital crime. Phelps in his deluded state of mind believes all disasters in the world can and should be attributed to Homosexuality and the worlds increasing acceptance and tolerance of the gay community. this includes Hurricane Katrina, the Mississippi bridge collapse and even 9-11.

WBC is not new to the Australian public, Australians have a great sense of humor and this was shown in 2006 when the Chaser Team (an Australian comedy program) called the Chasers War on Everything, had Journalist Charles Firth interview Fred Phelps in at the funeral of a US Marine that WBC were protesting, Firth proceeded to follow a male member of WBC around questioning his beliefs and motivation and then began flirting with him, when it became obvious the homosexual intentions of the interviewer Firth and the film crew were attacked.

Australia in general is an open country we love those from other countries to visit our shores, all cultures and lifestyles are not only accepted but celebrated here. in March of this year we celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras in Sydney. however the views and opinions of this Hate group has been received with a great big Kiss this nations Ass. it is with this that I ask my fellow Aussies in the United states to attend the memorial service of Heath Ledger on mass Stand United and strong, screaming Aussie Aussie Aussie Oi oi oi, as only we can.

Its not the gay community that god hates and normally I would say its WBC how ever I was raised to believe that God is loving and forgiving and because of that I believe even Fred Phelps will be forgiven however Australia isn't God and we wont forgive quite so easily.

Rest in Peace Heath Ledger you will be missed but never forgotten
