God Knocked on My Father's Door, and He Answered Yes

Jenny Heart
God knocks on our doors more than once in our lives. My dad heard a knock that must have been from the maker himself close to Easter morning. My dad was called home to his resting place. He must have heard him call his name I do believe.

God doesn't want to make us cry, but he knows what must be done and he wants us to believe in him without any doubt. I couldn't understand why my dad had to be in so much discomfort with his breathing for a month. The day before his last day he saw his grandson John who had been waiting to see him, but couldn't get there when he was first diagnosed. The last day this same man states he must change a few things in his life. His last days were designed to finished everything on earth that God had planned for his life.

Life is tough more times than not; however his people ahould always remember that our father in heaven knows best. I've learned a lot from my dad's life. I learned even more while he was preparing to meet his creater this last month.

Seek knowledge from above, and the answers you seek may lead you down a stronger path of everlasting trust in your Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I miss him terribly, but I know his plan was a divine one. I trust him even though I'd do anything to bring him back once again. His face will shine everytime I think of him now, and forever.

God's plan for our lives may be different than we had designed it; however never doubt him, and let him carry you when you are troubled about anything in your life. God is magnificiant, and true to what is best for us, even when we are in doubt, and going through trials, and tribulations

God is good

Let him guide you

Hold you in the palms of his hands

And then finally one day

He'll capture you

And bring you home too

To join them together

With you once again

Now that's a reunion that will be

Full of glory
