In the beginning of time;
God created the universe;
To the earth, He brought forth life;
He made man and woman;
Formed them in His own image;
Thus, He made them sacred;
But He knew that they would fall;
And betray His trust;
So He punished them;
And yet He still loved them;
He promised them a Savior;
Who is Jesus the Christ;
The only Son of God;
Conceived by the Holy Ghost;
And born of the Virgin Mary;
He died on the cross to save humankind;
And rose again to give hope to all;
Not just for a selected few;
But for all people who love Him;
People of different races and creeds;
God the Father, loves everyone;
Although many do not know Jesus;
They do know God the Father;
In different lands and cultures;
He is given many affectionate names;
God will not punish people for ignorance;
He will reward them for their goodness;
He will instead condemn those who claim Him;
But do not emulate Him towards others;
In their thoughts, words, and actions;
We need to stop shouting our religious beliefs;
And start living them out instead;
Let everyone see the peace and joy;
Reflected in our everyday lives;
If we want to teach people about Jesus;
Then we must first let them see Him in us.
