God Meant it for Good

Human is a nature,
and all the danger an engine needs
to drive an act of treachery,
To do the pursuit of excellence,
or to embrace with faith a destiny.
Living human ain't easy -
just ask Jesus, who knew we needed
a reason to believe beyond the hideous fee,
beyond the flaws that we see in ourselves,
the ones we impose on one another when
all we needed was love to smile, for there lies mercy;
There is where our hearts are free of bitterness and bygone days;
There is where our lungs sing loud and clear of unforgiveness;
And our bodies move, able in action,
projecting the passion we once had in faith, hope and life

But Doing is a leap of pure belief,
Where humans cannot stand alone
but by faith acknowledge truth
and Lean on Everlasting Arms,
Where we all share a desire to do the best we can in love we have,

I know there's a whole world out there, a vehicle churning,
rolling without conscience, over-exposing us to illness and conflict,
bringing both joys and disappointments that gather like lather over human existence,

But True Faith is a journey within,
A path that shows how good it is to turn from sin, sayin':
I believe to be blessed! I am a guest of the Holy Spirit,
and confident of such reprieve!

It is only by heaven's grace that truth is never solely pain,
For as surely as some clouds DO let us down
God is good, and some clouds don't,
and it is there, right there, when we keep our eyes
where the sun does shine,
like all things alive, we grow...
From heaven's rain, in heaven's time.
