God is There
And are full of deep despair,
Take comfort in knowing
That Almighty God is there.
When you are feeling sunny,
And there is no cloud in the sky,
Keep in mind that God is there
And He is the true reason why.
When you feel as if you cannot go on,
And you are overcome with feelings of blue,
Just remember that God is there
To love you and see you through.
Whether our days are happy or sad,
Bright and cheery or dark and drear,
We can take strength in knowing
That our Heavenly Father is always near.
