God Will Provide For You

Luke 12:22-34

I was reading this morning from Luke 12 about "worries". Yes, we worry when we lack or when our bills come because we do not always have the money to pay them.

Yet, in this passage Jesus clearly says, " Do not worry". I do not know about you, but so many times knowing this sentence spoken by Jesus, I still worried and I still did not trust Him to take care of me. In fact one day I have faith, next day I doubt again. I am a rollercoster in this area. I do not make millions or even 30,000 currently due to a change of job. It will take a while to get things going and during this time it is so easy to worry. But why do I worry? Because I do not believe God. I do not trust that He is truly my Shepperd and I shall not want. I do not trust Him that He is for me; because it is easier to believe God answers everyone's prayer but mine.

Have you ever felt like that? Have you ever felt like God has forsaken you an no matter how much you prayed nothing happened.

I am on a quest to find out what really makes God answer prayer and so far I found out that if we live in sin or want to do our own will and not His, He will not answer. God requires obedience from our part. So many people today they say they are Christians, they go to church, yet their heart harbors sin. One cannot go Sunday to church and then think it is OK to go watch at the movie theater, " Sex and the City". How can light agree with darkness. we know God is against immorality, so how can we think it is OK to worship Him with our lips and enjoy a movie like that?

But those who love God and obey Him and seek ONLY His Kingdom ( by the way, the Greek says " only" , not "first") then we don't even have to ask for things because God says the things we need will be ADDED unto us. Blessings will follow. And I personally have witnessed that in some amazing Christians who are totally sold out for God and would die any day for Him.

Do you trust Him? Do you really believe He will take care of you? Or you read the Word and then you worry and worry and you almost have a nervous break-down? How about going to your neighbors and telling them about Jesus, take them some food, or just invite them over. Not everybody is a criminal! We need to stop being afraid of people. We need to step out of our own safety box and see the world...the harvest is ripe. That is what I am going to do. And blessings will follow as you bring the dominion of the King in your and other peoples' lives.

Many blessings!
