How long has this reverend been spouting this stuff? I'll tell you - - 20 years - - and Barack Obama has been sitting in the pew the whole time listening. Any amount of time listening to this and you'd think a man aspiring to be president would distance himself immediately from such a damaging association and find another church. This will not die out - - Obama is finished and no statement of condemnation or explanation will help him.
Racism parading around dressed up in religion? That's nothing new.
What do you think would happen if we got rid of our belief in God? I believe it's a bunch of bullsh*t that anyone can truly believe that the church and state can be separate. You can make the laws but answer me this, do you think an atheist could ever be elected president of the United States? How about an admitted homosexual? I don't think so.
In Iran homosexuality is a crime punishable by death.
It's all downright ridiculous and is nothing more than the purest form of totalitarianism, both church and state. You govern your beliefs by your own thoughts, strip away outside influences and what do you have? Nothing. Everything we see and hear from birth is what molds us. Do you believe that if you think a sinful thought that you are guilty of it? That's what the bible says.
Just as an experiment, try not believing in God for a moment - - would you still have morals? Would you still have all of your hang-ups? Human nature is one of conflict and conquest and no threat of an afterlife in some sort of hell will change it. Only the individual gut check can decide a personal, moral issue. Is fighting for peace like raping for virginity? How do you know what you truly feel if you're already brainwashed?
Let's look at a little list of these conspiracies that I have compiled. It is by no means all-inclusive as my main focus is on America.
1865 Confederate America plot to assassinate Abraham Lincoln
1932 The Tuskegee experiment
1941 Pearl Harbor
1945 Hiroshima/Nagasaki (could have been avoided)
1954 American sponsorship of Israeli terrorists
1963 The JFK assassination
1964 Tonkin Gulf incident
1968 The MLK assassination
1981 Aids invented by government scientists
1984 Crack invented by same scientists
1992 US backing of the Search Bloc that later evolved into the "Los Pepes" Colombian death squad during the hunt for drug lord Pablo Escobar.
9/11 2001
Did I miss any?
It takes conspiracies and false flag incidents connected with a presidential election for the major media outlets to discuss such things. What about who controls news media content? I didn't even list that, it's a given
I find conspiracies interesting. What if it walks like a duck? Anyway you slice it up, or if you believe it or not, the government is in the process of rewriting the constitution, and has been. But hey, it's to protect our freedom.
Ok then, it's on to the Burlesque Review.
Prostitution is, as you know, the world's most ancient profession and is legal in more countries than it isn't. Right here in Nevada it is legal in most counties (the ones with populations under 400,000). I live near Reno not far from the brothels that have been shunted away in Moundhouse. Out of sight, out of mind, but there are still streetwalkers plying an illegal trade in the two major cities of Nevada (Reno and Vegas). I lived in Vegas for six years, and believe me - - it's rampant.
Legalize it, tax it, control it, and monitor it.
We as a nation are seemingly stupid, and the nonstop media facilitates this by such things as say, offering a hooker, a hundred thousand dollars for a single interview. Larry Flynt is offering her a million dollars to pose for Hustler magazine. Is it wrong or right? Everything is truly in the eye of the beholder. Ask Silda Spitzer what she thinks about it. I'm sure we'll find out when she gets around to writing her book. What? She forgave him? She wasn't smiling at any of those press conferences.
Is prostitution the only profession that a homeless girl can turn to? Is that the way to pull oneself up by their bootstraps and overcome sometimes self-imposed obstacles, such as running away from home? Is the Spitzer prostitute a shining example? The truth is leaking out. I don't think it's credible that you can site your stepfather not buying you a new car after you've wrecked his as abuse and a reason to run away from home, and beat homelessness by becoming a thousand dollar an hour hooker. Again, does it walk like a duck?
How about the gay American Idol stripper that got voted off? The producers didn't make him leave did they? Political correctness leads to double standards. Ever seen a straight pride parade?
~ Epilogue ~
How bad do you think it's going to be years from now when the oil runs out? The Middle East has already hit peak production, and the world is not really any closer to a real solution for a burgeoning population that uses up more and more of the earths resources. You really want to save the earth? Kill yourself, lol, no don't do that I'm jus kiddin' ya while trying to make a point.
We spend three billion dollars a week for the war in Iraq. This country is so far in debt, and is fighting so many wars (drugs, sex, immigration et al) within it's own borders that I fear it may someday collapse in on itself and become the Fractured States of America. Civilizations rise and fall.
The world itself is being prepped for disposal, but that's another article.

Post a Comment"Only the individual gut check can decide a personal, moral issue." Some believe that is God speaking to them.
Very very well said.
Nice rant! I think you have illustrated brilliantly why I hardly watch the news--it's almost always negative. Negativity sells. The glass is 10% empty, not 90% full. I remember back when I was a kid that I was told by a social studies teacher that the Soviet Union would take over the world, and by 1984 our way of life would collapse and global warming would cause a major famine in the U.S. by 1995 and so on...ad nauseum!
Here's my issue: If we're going to hold reverends accountable for presidential elections, then shouldn't we be eyeing McCain too? McCain's friend, late Rev. Jerry Falwell, who said 9/11 was retribution from God, and Rev. John Hagee who said the Catholic Church "thirsted for the blood of the Jewish people" thoughout its history and that Hurricane Katrina struck New Orleans to prevent a gay pride march? Do Obama naysayers hate him for his disrespect for homosexuality and translationof September 11th too? And just an FYI, if you want to find out more about why Rev. Wright may have a point about HIV/AIDS being a manmade disease, check out this six-part YouTube video set: http://www.youtube.com/v/Ml7q6iMwqLY&hl=en
I love it when ya' let loose, Eli! ;o) I'm rather godless so I can't comment on morality thingy, but must admit that it'd be a lot more fun to watch the American fiascos from abroad rather than living among it. ;oP Unfortunately.... no quick or easy fix... or even a moderately easy one. The majority of the populace have got to feel the need to learn more about the issues and actually read multiple newspaper in order to be able to make informed decisions rather than just following along what people like Wright says. I'm afraid I don't see that happening. Thanks for speaking out, bro.
We are already damned if we do not straighten up. I am considered white. I agree with what Wright said, from what I heard of it. I think he should have stuck to preaching the gospel according to Jesus~oh, that is right, Jesus did condemn wrongdoing in government, how silly of me, I meant the love thy neighbor stuff. Hello President McCain thank you people for letting your bigotry show. No outcrys about that Ku Klux Klan, hey they only hate blacks, Spanish, Hebrews~a long list, anyone not a WASP. Not a boo of condemnation for those so called Christians that have been very much a part of government for a good long time.
Oops, forgot the OKC bombing, Waco, and Ruby Ridge.
I was going to say the year, but I don't want to, uh.. oh hmmm what?
The whole election is nothing but a fake dog-n-pony show to perpetuate the myth that Americans have any choice. The government there was bought and paid for well before you or I was even born.
I forgot a question mark after, " ..and Barack Obama has been sitting in the pew the whole time listening." Sorry. Barack has offered that he has never heard such inflammatory speech from the pastor's pulpit.
