God's Children of Mystery and Love
The faces of children
tell a long, long story
What will their hearts
tell their listeners
Their faces are full of
mystery and love
for all who seek
what's behind their expressions
Is it joy their faces possess
within their eyes filled with love
or is it sadness
behind their tearful hearts?
Glory be to God
the inventor of love
He will carry each tear
on the wings of his love
Now, the children can sleep
better than they did the night before
far God's love is guarding
their front and back door
