We see in the story of Joseph in Genesis40, and the favor God showed him, and Mary, the mother of Jesus in Luke one and two, who was "highly favored." We see here the Gods favor bestowed upon two children. Because we belong to God through Christ Jesus, we now have received God's favor.
When you walk in gods favor there will be Restoration of everything which enemy has taken from you, you will experience Greater victories in midst of greater odds, Battles are won in which you won't even have to fight because God will fight them for you, there will be Supernatural increase of your wealth, he will show mercy (Psalm 119:58), your petitions are more likely to be granted (Esther 7:3).
There are many scriptures where Gods people have experienced the favor from God.
And the child Samuel grew on, and was in favor both with the LORD, and also with men. (1 Samuel 2:26)
And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man. (Luke 2:52)
When we concentrate on pleasing God, HE will give us favor with others when we need it most.
Isaiah 49:8 - This is what the Lord says: "In the time of my favour I will answer you, and in the day of salvation I will help you; I will keep you and will make you to be a covenant for the people, to restore the land and to reassign its desolate inheritances."
2 Corinthians 6:1-2 - As God's fellow-workers we urge you not to receive God's grace in vain. For he says, "In the time of my favour I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you." I tell you, now is the time of God's favour, now is the day of salvation.
Proverbs 12:2 :A good man obtaineth favour of the LORD: but a man of wicked devices will he condemn.
Psalms 5:11, 12: But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee. For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.
Psalms 41:11: By this I know that thou favourest me, because mine enemy doth not triumph over me.
Proverbs 18:22 Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favour of the LORD.
Ephesians 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ

Good job God fearing woman
PS, My new article is just for you. Happy Mother's Day to you, such a godly woman and mother.
So true Shaila. Blessings are tied to obedience and God desires obedience over sacrifice. As Jerimiah says, "I have plans for you and they are to prosper you and to do you no harm". Who was He speaking to? Those who follow His Word and walk in His ways, not the world of those who don't know Him. Well done friend.
