I will compare and contrast the world that God intended to the world that is now in existence. Several areas will be examined: thought and imagination, labor and hardship, inventions, authority and oppression.
In the beginning, Adam's mind was like the mind of God. He thought God's thoughts and his imagination was divine. He governed the garden with perfect judgment and excellence. He gave names to all life that surrounded him, including his own helpmate. He called her woman. This was the state of divinity that God intended for people in the beginning of creation. If people had continued living in the divine nature of the creation, the world would be dramatically different than it in now. First of all, the world would have been replenished and dominated with the thoughts and imagination of a spiritual mind. This divine mind is many levels higher than the natural mind. It thinks God's thoughts and executes God's ways. Because this mind is love and does not invent weapons of mass destruction, there would be no reason to fear other people or nations. It doesn't promote and sell dangerous drugs such as cocaine or herion. These type of drugs destroys the life of individuals and entire families. The spiritual minded person has no desire to see other people suffer. It does not put kings, priests, presidents, or any man before God. The spiritual mind worships God alone as all powerful.
The imagination of the spiritual mind realizes the impossible and brings it into reality. It is the Faith of God operating in people. This mind is imbued with truth and godliness and applies it to all situations, circumstances, and conditions of humanhood. Children of spiritual minded families are born in God's wisdom and are shaped in supernatural love instead of being born in sin and shaped in iniquity. This means that their lives would be free from the Old Testament's curse of the law. Their bodies would not be sick or diseased because they wouldn't have any fear or unbelief. Fearful thoughts and imaginations attract negative conditions that destroy a person's peace of mind, but the consciousness of God in people produces a joy beyond belief. People are totally free and creative, everywhere. Brotherly and Sisterly love flourishes like millions of flowers covering the earth. The thoughts and imagination of God in man is unlimited and full of never ending glory.
Labor and Hardship would have never existed in God's first creation. Adam's responsibility of tilling the ground was like a pleasant work. But because of disobedience mankind was cursed to sweat and labor for his prosperity. But this is the a curse in the natural world-the world of illusions. However, let's imagine that Adam had never been disobedience. Would there be doctors, lawyers, and judges? The answer is no! In the kingdom of God there would be no sickness or disease, therefore there would be no need for hospitals. As far as authority and oppression, there would be no law enforcement, crime, or violence, so police officers wouldn't be needed. People would operate in the wisdom and knowledge of God and He only would be the Judge. It appears that our very livelihood feeds on the faults and weaknesses of our neighbors. We employ police offices, soldiers, and armies because of our hatred for one another. We mistrust one another. Therefore we survive off of one another's faults. Law enforcement officer's livelihood depends on crime; doctor's livelihood depends on sickness and disease; and a lawyer livelihood depends on judgement. This is not the world God intended in the beginning. The atmosphere of the Garden of Eden was full of perfect peace and fullness of joy because of the presence of God. He envisioned a world free of hate and strife where good will toward our neighbors was intended to be a way of life.
In the beginning there was no illusion. All things were created in the truth and vision of God. Adam's man was the mind of God. Today most of us function in natural mind, but it takes a spiritual mind to see the truth and reality of all things in God's creation. Once the illusion of this natural world is overcome by mankind, then new dawn of supernatural love and affection for all people will transform the globe.
