boardwalk barker works the crowd
whack a mole if you can
Stroll along waters edge
throwing shells into the surf
Rival locals draw a line
for their piece of ocean turf
Watch the tram cars riding by
seagulls begging for a meal
Ice cream man strides through the sand
two for one what a deal
It's not the beach or the coast
that people visit anymore
put on your shades and Coppertone

Post a CommentMy family had a place in Wildwood,NJ but I loved Atlantic City. Every year I would stand beside Mister Peanut to see how much I'd grown. . . . fond memories!
Used to go to LBI all the time as a kid. Love Sea Isle too and nothing is as good as Mack & Manco's pizza in Ocean City.
Down the shore.... for sure!
