On January 15 of this year, my husband and I leave for our "trip of a lifetime." We begin in San Diego where our other daughter and 5 year old grandson live. The following Tuesday evening, January 18, we board the plane for New Zealand. By the time we land in New Zealand, the date will be January 20. Our daughter has planned an exciting itinerary for us which includes 5 days in New Zealand, a few days in Sydney, 3 days sailing among the islands of the Great Barrier Reef and other interesting stops. Because of the torrential rains and flooding in Australia now, we may have to amend our itinerary and add volunteer work to our agenda. If so, so be it. We arrive back in San Diego on February 14 for another two days with our daughter and grandson.
During this time computer availability will be limited. Most likely I will not be able to read your articles and leave comments. I will try and view pages as much as possible and hope to share some photos from my trip. By the end of February, it will be business as usual. So for now, g'day, Mates.

Awesome!
Congratulations. Take lots of pictures. I will look forward to viewing them.
One place we haven't been. Len's sister used to live in Australia, when we were in England.
NOT A GUEST - Great to hear you are coming over to Oz. You are not going to be in flooded areas by the sounds of your itinerary. Wish we could meet up but best you stay away from Brisbane at the moment. I'd rather you see it in its glory when it has recovered from the floods.
Can't wait to hear your report. My daughter is considering getting her Master's in Australia, so we'll be heading down this spring to check out colleges.
