Going, Going, Gone: Moving Companies of Ventura

Deborah Coss
The City of Ventura is not a large city, population wise. It may feel very big to those of us who have lived here for decades, or have families here that were part of starting this beautiful community. This town is still small enough for us to run into people we know, no matter where we are headed, and still small enough for us to get to know our providers of services.

As far as moving companies go, if I was to move today and had the money in my budget, hands down, I would ask Burger Brothers Moving to carry the load. Daniel Burger is a local business man who contributes to his own community on many levels. He does more than earn a living in our community and he spends his net earnings locally. You can often see Daniel Burger, about town, with one of his friends, and he will be giving some of the same valuable and solid advice that he gives his customers. And his caring and advice are free. Visit their website to get to know them better. And when you are ready to make that move, call Burger Brothers, the local company that cares! They also offer on site storage. Call for details. http://www.burgermovers.com

Another company I know of is the Unique Moving Company that was started in Ventura, by a local man. Since I could not find his name on the web site, I'll just refer to him by his first name. Rodney was a local young man, from West Ventura, who worked hard to come up and run a clean, well operated business that moved to Camarillo. You can often see their moving trucks on the road, helping people get from here to there. I ought to break down and call them and see if Rodney still owns them. Or you might want to call him and let him know you found out about him on Associated Content! http://uniquemoversinc.homestead.com/

We also have Sheeler Moving and Storage. They also offer document moving and management. As identity theft and intrusion becomes more aggressive, a good and dependable one stop company may be what many business organizations needing. They seem to have diverse skills and when you visit their site you will find that they state the following: "Sheeler Moving and Storage Inc. entered into an agency agreement with Wheaton Worldwide Moving also a leader in the industry with an unsurpassed reputation for quality service and fair business practice. Wheaton is the only moving company to carry the Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval as well as being the official mover for Steinway & Sons pianos." http://www.sheelermoving.com/

If the personal touch, and small town business approach is not your style and you would rather shop, reserve and click, then you might want to contact one of the larger companies like Public Storage, where you can arrange for storage, maybe get a discount with a local truck rental company (Like Budget), and do it yourself! Make sure you remember all the rules about lift with your legs and not your back! Check them out at: http://www.publicstorage.com

If there no companies above that fit your needs or desires, there is a web site where you can research your own needs and maybe you will find the hidden gem of movers. If so, let us know, right here at Associated Content!
