What type of business is the most eco-friendly? One of the most economically friendly places right now is a natural food store or a grocery co-op.
This is because this type of grocery store only carries naturally grown products that are completely organic. This means that there have not been any sort of pesticides sprayed on the produce. Not only is this a much more healthy choice for your body, but it is also much better for the ozone too. When pesticides are used, they can cause different forms of bacteria such as ecoli to grow on the food. Also, pesticides are chemicals and can be unsafe for the earths' atmosphere.
What else do these types of grocery stores sell? They also carry a lot of organic and environmentally friendly household products. These are things such as laundry detergent, dish soap, shampoos, facial cleansers and more! What is the difference in these products? The difference is that these products all have formulas which do not have any sort of chemical in them. This is good for the environment and it is also a lot better choice for your body as well. This is because by using laundry detergents and shampoos that are made out of natural extracts, your body will not be absorbing unnatural chemicals.
Many of these natural products can also save you money! That is because they are much more concentrated than other brands. Also, many times these grocery stores will also have products that are locally grown. One such item that is actually much more beneficial for your body when it is local is honey. Many scientific studies have been done on this. They have proven that eating honey that is local is more helpful to your body than any other type of honey.
How does a co-operative grocery store work? One of these grocery stores thrives on not only the people who are employed there but also the customers as well. This is because in a co-op run grocery store, shoppers have the choice of signing up for memberships. This means discounts! Also, you can volunteer to help you and earn additional discount rights. A co-op is an excellent way to grocery shop! Not only are you providing your body with many more healthy alternatives, but you can also save money on these products as well.
If your town does not have this type of grocery store, look into going to a farmers' market instead. You will be able to find the same sort of products as you would at a co-op grocery store. You will not only be helping to support natural health food products, you will also be doing yourself some good!
