Going Home
I watch you every night.
I stare across the Lakefront, I've been staring at you for over 20 years.
I visit when I can, I see old friends...I see family.
But once I left, I never came back.
In 5 months, I'm coming home Michigan.
Then I'll be staring across the Lake back at the other places I've lived.
Illinois and Wisconsin, Indiana too. I grew as a person in every place.
But not one of them did I call my home.
You are my home Michigan, and I'm finally coming back...
