One thing that you can do is shrink your pictures. You can do this at your nearest Kinkos Copy Center. You can shrink the photo down to the size that you desire. Make it smaller than it was so it will take up less space on the wall. One tip, the middle picture of the photo arrangement should be the largest, the further out they go the smaller they should be. You can make them all the same size, too. It all depends on your taste. All different sizes are harder to deal with, but you can do that too.
When you are framing the pictures it is a good idea to stick to the same color. Perhaps you want all gold frames, or silver or black ones. Stick to a common theme as this will allow the pictures to show up better. If all the frames are a different color and texture it distracts from the pictures inside the frames.
If you are really short on space, consider switching out the pictures on a timely basis. This way you will show off all of your pictures but you will be switching them to showcase them. This helps especially when you have a very small wall space and a lot of pictures that you want to show. Remember that you can change them anytime that you want, so never fear that you won't be able to spotlight one of your pictures.
By going miniature you can fit a lot more photographs in the space that you have. Place them in an interesting manner and watch those that come to visit stop to look at all of them. Make sure that you keep your picture frames clean. A nice feather dusting once a week will keep them looking good. Clean them better at least twice a year by using Windex and a cloth. Make sure there are no fingerprints on the glass. Show off the pictures that you want and enjoy the feeling that it will give to you. Everyone that visits your home will enjoy seeing the photos that you display.
