Going to Sanigaw

When I was younger, I had taken a job offer to Saginaw, Michigan. The job consisted of me operating a cart at a standard mall. I was the guy that tried to sell things to customers who had walked by in the middle of the mall. The agreement was until the end of the summer.

Once I had arrived there, things were not what they were supposed to be. I was given a room at an average motel and was stuck working in the mall and living in the motel until the end of the summer. The person that hired me was for lack of better words "crazy," and I only seen him three times in the entire trip. Those few occasion we met were for him to give me my money! In addition for whatever reasons, I was not able to hire anyone else, most likely due to thieving. I was bored working by myself and very lonely. I resorted to finding a local bar that served alcohol to me, which was a tough task to say in the least due to me being only eighteen years of age. Since sales were so low, I eventually talked my boss in allowing my twin brother to come and help me out.

When my brother arrived, the entire mood of the trip changed. My brother came with the attitude of not caring what anyone thought and to just have fun. From there we had a blast. It turned from a business trip to a vacation. We shared the same motel room I was given originally and sales didn't get too much higher. Also, because we worked on a paying salary of commission only, we were dead broke.

When we came home I paid some bills off and had less money from when I begun this business venture. However, we made a few friends, which one of those friends I am still friends with till this day. At that time, going there did not do much for me, but looking back, that trip is one of the many things that made me who I am today.
