Gold Coast Restaurant Eve Closes After New Years Eve
Neighborhood: Gold Coast
Chicago, IL 60611
United States of America
The chic Gold Coast eatery Eve, located at 840 North Wabash in Chicago, is set to close its doors after this New Years Eve. It is not known if it will stay open until early 2011, or if its last day will be New Years Eve, 2010. To date, there have been no official or definitive announcements of an exact closing date or a reason for the closing. Eve's executive chef Tony Graves has been delighting patrons since 2008 with amazing dishes such as grilled lobster sausage, coupled with chanterelle mushrooms, pomegranate glazed prawns and pumpkin panna cotta, applewood smoked bacon with pearl onions combined with maple bechamel, crispy veal sweetbreads and lentil puree and sugar snap peas. Happy hour was fun, especially during the summer months, when the after work crowd descended upon the outdoor patio, where Small Bites and cocktail specials were offered.

There is no word yet on what the future holds for Chef Tony Graves, what his plans are or at what restaurant we might see him next at. For more information on hours of operation, menu items and to inquire about reservations, call Eve at 312-266-3383.
