Golden Globe Goodie Bag Escapes for Celebrities Can Be Yours Too

Resort Packages Gifted to Celebrities Are Open to Anyone Savvy Enough to Find Them

If you love reading about where the celebrities are vacationing these days, then you'll be interested to know about this newly reopened resort along Africa's sparkling coast.

Kapeski's Zamani Retreat in Zanzibar has placed a treasure trove of goodies inside the gift bags that will be handed out to the Golden Globe nominees Jan. 14 and 15, 2011, including a free stay in a private villa. Thanks to a relationship between one of Zamani's representatives and GBK Productions' president, Gavin B. Keilly, the likes of Alec Baldwin, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Bill Maher, Diane Warren, Melissa Joan Hart, and more, could be on safari before the year is out.

Even for celebrities, this Zamani resort is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. And for $2,500 a night, you too could bask in your own 30-foot private swimming pool in one of their Presidential villas. Or opt for the $500 regular rooms - except there's nothing regular about this retreat. Demi Moore is one of the lucky ones to have visited Zamani's transcendent grounds. She's lucky because even when vacations like this are given away to celebs, they can't always take the time to go. So, if time is a luxury you can afford, plan to spend no less than a week here, as you'll want to spend time exploring and not just floating in the crystal blue beach waters.

Another Kapeski resort, called Bilila Lodge, is where these jetsetters will spend three nights while on safari. This lodge is located within the Serengeti National Park . Keilly, who has traveled extensively, says of his stay, "The whole trip really enacted all of my senses, from the smell of nature on the safari, to the sights of the clear waters, and I ended up leaving with an inner peace." The food, he adds, was also amazing. The resort offers a buffet with every type of meat imaginable, complete with entertainment such as Swahili dancers. You can also request any type of custom food order.

Zamani offers the resort equivalent to the book Eat, Pray, Love. Not only are you offered an array of healthy gourmet food, but there's also a resident healer and spiritual guide to lead meditation. Plus, the people here are also truly amazing, as they have a great deal of energy and are often smiling. You will truly love them. This central part of Africa is home to thrilling adventures for photographers, animal lovers, and disciples of Anthony Bourdain. Experience local teas and chocolates under a night sky so brilliant, you think the stars are literally within your reach.

For the stars at this Golden Globes party, they'll also receive a voucher from Caribbean Living Magazine, which is offering a choice of six different five star resorts for seven nights, everything included (massages, food, drink). If you had to choose between the Veranda Resort & Spa Antigua or St. James' Club or Palm Island in the Grenadines, Long Bay Beach Resort & Villas on Tortola -- oh, or the Westin Dawn Beach Resort & Spa on St. Maarten, which would you pick? Decisions, decisions.

The celebrity gift bags, valued around $40,000, are stuffed with other goodies, like a $100 Beyond the Rack gift card, as well. But the real treat for Keilly is giving 20 percent of these items to charity, which, he says, is why he began his business in the first place. The George Lopez Foundation (formerly known as the Ann & George Lopez Foundation) and New Orleans' St. Bernard Project, to help rebuild lives, are just a couple of the beneficiaries of this year's event.
