Golden Globes Red Carpet Report: Best Dressed Celebs of 2011

The 2011 Golden Globe Awards aired January 16th on NBC. But before the trophies made their way into the cool little hands of Hollywood's best and brightest, the celebs had to strut their stuff on the Red Carpet. Wondering who showed some serious best dressed chops? Here's a glance at the top looks of the evening. (Hint: Click each celeb's name for a peek at the outfit.)

2011 Golden Globe Awards Best Dressed Celeb #1: Olivia Wilde. Cinderella, you'd best make sure your hooks are firmly into Prince Charming because you've got some competition from Tinsel
Town. The "House" star looked storybook princess perfect in her heavily besparkled black strapless ballgown by Marchesa. Think 'starry sky on a cold winter night'. Think 'girl in a romantic commercial for really expensive perfume'. I want this dress. Heck, my 6-year old wants this dress. I didn't care much for the uber-high golden heels or the chunky bangs that sort of clunked against her forehead, but the gown trumps the flaws.

2011 Golden Globe Awards Best Dressed Celeb #2: Natalie Portman. Pregnancy never looked prettier. The "Black Swan" actress absolutely glowed in an airy pink dress by Viktor and Rolf. Even the fake rose affixed to the front of the gown -- which would ordinarily set off my 'tacky' alarm -- gave a sweet touch to the ensemble. And the hair and make-up? Sleek, sophistocated and stylish. An all-around A-plus for the mommy-to-be.

2011 Golden Globe Awards Red Carpet Rocker #3: Sofia Vergara. Someone get out a fire hose because this gal was smokin' on the Golden Globes Red Carpet. The curvaceous Modern Family actress sizzled in a classy red, form fitting number. Major points for having big boobs and not deliberately looking like a whore. Natural, old-Hollywood-esque hair and natural make-up finished the look in delicious fashion.

2011 Golden Globe Awards Best Dressed Celeb #4: Helen Mirren. The British actress proves, once and for all, that the sixties can be sexy. She looked classy, elegant and age-appropriate in her stunning golden Badgley Mischka creation. Of course, it also didn't hurt that she had some serious rocks around her neck in the form of a 1.6 million dollar necklace by Cartier. Bling, baby. Bling, bling.

2011 Golden Globe Awards Red Carpet Rocker #5: Catherine Zeta-Jones. The actress was a stunner in her forest green strapless ballgown by Monique Lhuillier. She opted for smooth, loose hair and accented the emsemble simply with sparkling drop earrings. I know how draining it is to support someone suffering through cancer, and she looked absolutely amazing. Go girl! Rock it!

So that's it for this gal's top picks. Who made your 2011 Golden Globes red carpet best dressed list? Sound off below!
