- Preview of Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet StreetPumped up about Sweeney Todd? Contrary to the impression you may have gotten from the previews, Sweeney Todd is not a musical. It's an opera. That means people sing instead of talk.
Movie Review: Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet StreetViolent and bloody with memorable songs from Stephen Sondheim, "Sweeney Todd" is the best present to unwrap during the Christmas season.- Sweeney Todd - the Demon Barber of Fleet StreetTim Burton's bloody version of "Sweeney Todd" is a bloody delight, even if it doesn't quite reach the level of greatness. Post a CommentI just wish the ceremony had been a little more... glamorous. Thanks for the list. Of course, I can't say I approve of some of their choices but that's the same as every other awards show.
Thanks for the list. I did not know who won what. It is a shame the golden globes award was cancelled. These actors and director and many others deserve to be honored for their work.
It seemed to me that the big winner was the writers union since they killed the show.
I want to see American Gangster. The Great Debaters was really good for anyone that likes Denzel.
