Golden State Warriors is one of the best professional basketball team who plays in the National Basketball Association. It's a team of Western Conference and Pacific Division. This is the team based on Oakland, California. Owner of this club is Chris Cohan. Chris Mullin is the General Manager of this team. The Golden State Warriors won one BAA and two NBA championships. It also won six conference titles and seven division titles. This team is one of the strongest team for 2007-08 season of NBA.

Now take a quick look on the history of The Golden State Warriors. This club was founded as ThePhiladelphia Warriors during 1946 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This club runs with this name till 1962. During this period Warriors won two NBA finals on 1946-47 and 1955-56 season. In 1955-56 seasons this club also won Conference Finals. In 1962 majority of share of this club purchased by Franklin Mieuli and he move the franchies to San Francisco and renamed this club as The San Francisco Warriors (1962-71).
