Fun Factor:
If you think of great N64 games, what would come to mind? Super Mario 64, Super Smash Bros., Starfox, and of course, 007: Goldeneye. James Bond games will always have a certain appeal to fans of FPS games, and that's one of the great reasons to buy Rogue Agent for Gamecube, PS2, or XBOX, but it just lost something when they tried it on the DS. That's why I think they should have just remade 007: Goldeneye for the DS, with all of its great levels, characters and weapons. But that's about enough of that. On to the review:

Gameplay:
Not exactly the greatest aspect of the game. At times, the campaign mode can be very easy, and there are only six levels. Virtual training is the best part of campaign mode. It's somewhat challenging and you can unlock new multiplayer arenas by completing missions. The double weapon system is a very nice touch. There's a nice selection of guns and plenty of combos to choose. One problem with gameplay, though: no 007. I was hoping James Bond would at least make an appearance, but there was no Bond.

Graphics:
Of course these graphics don't compare to the consoles, but they're good for the DS. The graphics are definitely better than the N64, much less boxy. One part, in the third level in campaign mode after the room lights on fire, has some pretty bad graphics. It's hard to really figure out what's going on, but other than that and a few other minor imperfections, these graphics are pretty slick.

Sound:
TURN IT OFF! This music annoys me to no end. At first it seems to go well with the mood, but after listening to the same freakin' techno music for hours on end it gets old. The sound effects are all right, but I get tired of hearing "uh uh uh uh uh" everytime I shoot someone. A little variety in death cries would be nice.

Value:
Multiplayer this is where the game shines. With all of the characters, weapons, and arenas, there is endless fun to be had. As long as you have someone to play with, you won't be able to put this game down. They don't even have to have the game thanks to single-card play. But there is one problem with single-card mode: 1 character, 1 set of weapons, 1 arena, 1 hour until you get bored. If you force your friends into buying this game then you'll be okay. Multiplayer is the biggest reason to buy Rogue Agent, and it'll keep you busy for a long time.

Overall:
Definitely a game that's worth picking up, especially if you have a friend who owns a DS. The music might have you ripping your hair out, and the campaign mode is a little short, but this is worth at least renting.
