Series 4 Will Be on the Way as Well

Super Mario Bros. figures are some of the most popular Nintendo collectibles to date, but it is difficult to ones that are of high quality. If you buy them at www.eBay.com, you will see that there are many bootleg Super Mario figures. It is quite frustrating because many of these bootlegs have very poor paint quality and unusual molds. To make matters even worse, bootleggers have figured out a way to make their fake figures look like originals. They do a pretty good job with that, but you can only tell if they are bootlegs just by looking at the figure's package. Anyway, the best Super Mario Bros. figurines are produced by Goldie and Popco. Their products are perfect examples of what Super Mario figurines are so supposed to look like. The Mario figure collector tins produced by Goldie are very popular among Nintendo fans and are becoming somewhat difficult to find at reasonable prices. Not too long ago, eBay sellers from Australia have given Mario fans a sneak peak at what Goldie's intentions are for their third series (Series 3) of Super Mario figures. It looks like Diddy Kong from the Donkey Kong franchise will finally make his debut as a two-inch figurine according to www.goldiepopco.blogspot.com. That site mentions the possibility of a fourth and final series of collector tins as well.

The Super Mario Collector Tins are pretty amazing because they contain two highly detailed figurines per package. As of today, there have been two different series of collector tins released in the United States. What makes them so unique is that they contain villains from the Super Mario Bros. franchise such as Goombas, Shy Guys, Bullet Bills, Koopas, and Lakitus. The Lakitu figures are my personal favorite Mario villains because they are very cute and cool at the same time. They are approximately two inches long and do not come with any special accessories such as Mushrooms, fire flowers, and turtle shells. It would be a shame if Popco and Goldie decide not to release Super Mario figures with accessories in the near future.

It is very unfortunate that Goldie has not produced figures based on the Legend of Zelda series because it is a very successful video game franchise. Decent Zelda figures are very tough to find online and have been for at least a decade now, but that does not mean they should be non-existent in today's toy market. According to www.goldiemarketing.com.au, Goldie has been around for nearly eight years and has had much success with their products. Their site may currently be down because some of their links are inaccessible, but you can still contact them via email. It is very likely they will produce more Super Mario products, but the actual release dates are still unknown.
