The MacGregor Golf MT Drivers carry a little bit of technology over from the MacTec line. Featuring the Cub Face 360* Technology, they offer explosive distance and pin point accuracy. The Cup Face design allows for the face to be welded separately from the body for a hotter face and at the same time allowing for more weight to be moved to the perimeter of the club head. Finally getting a driver to the full 460cc mark is also new with this driver.
The past NVG drivers were maxed out at 455. Not that it really makes a difference, but trust me, just for marketing sakes, it will sell a few more drivers for them. Similar to the fairway woods and hybrids, they feature a sole that sets the club down squarely each time and its classic pear shape look had me drooling the first time it was put in my hands!
I liked how this driver looks as you can tell, but what got me was that it was just as long as the MacTec line and had these great looks to boot! It was very workable from the tee and I could move it left and right, high and low with ease. I hope that they offer a Tour version similar to the MacTech line, that club will defiantly be going in my bag! I can't wait to see the custom options they will be offering as well!
This is a great driver for just about every level of player out there. I think it is worth a look for everyone out there looking for a new driver this season, and while you are at it, give the rest of MacGregors MT line a try. You might just have a whole new set after you do!

Post a CommentBest driver I have hit all year, long with low spin, can hit it high low, The face has great feel and the
Aldila DVS does not balloon with great feel and accuracy, I swing at 105 to 115 mph and have a 9.5 loft with DVS stiff.
I have hit the Callaway Hyper X tour 9.5, Cobra L4V 9.0, Cleveland HiBore XL 9.5. This driver has better feel and is as long or longer than all of them.
The spin never seems to get to high a huge deal when looking for 10 extra yards with a hard swing. The tour burner has great feel but the stock shafts are crap.
The Aldila DVS and MT head is an amazing combo
