MEL
Finding a place to golf in Los Angeles may take a little time. There are so many courses to choose from that you might want to narrow that number down to location and view. Between the San Gabriel foothills and the Pacific Ocean, here are three reviews to get you started.

1. Trump National Los Angeles.
For ocean-front elegance and simply the best, come golf with the Hollywood elite at Trump National Los Angeles. No expense has been spared on this lavish resort located high on the cliffs in Rancho Palos Verdes, Ca.

The Pro Shop (310)-303-3240.
Carrying only the finest quality top name brands, the Pro Shop makes an excellent place for all your needs and golfing gifts. The Club Pro's are PGA certified and offer game packages from beginner to advanced.

Trump Restaurants (310)-303--3260

2. Eaton Canyon Golf Course.
Eaton Canyon Golf Course is a gem located just 20 minutes from downtown Los Angeles, nestled in the beautiful San Gabriel foothills of Pasadena. Green fees range from $14.50 on weekdays to $18.25 on weekends. Cart rentals range from $11.00 to $16.00 and PGA certified instruction starts at $35.00.

For some rest and relaxation, try The 10th Hole Bar and Grille. They serve wonderful breakfasts and lunchtime sandwiches at very reasonable rates from $1.75 to $7.25 and the snow-capped mountain view is stunning in winter

Golfing specials are posted on the website. You may want to check them often for savings on some great deals. Eaton Canyon is one of the most scenic Los Angeles courses and offfers budget-friendly prices, too.

3. Griffith Park.
Griffith Park is a multi-activity center high in the hills of Los Angeles. It has four golf courses ,with splendid views, at very low rates. The two main courses are both 18-hole and greens are under $15.

Harding Municipal Golf Course and Wilson Municipal Golf Course are located at:
4730 Crystal Springs Dr.
Los Angeles, Ca 90027

In addition, Griffith Park has a 9-hole course, Roosevelt Municipal Golf Course, located at:
2650 N. Vermont Ave

Some of the additional activities at Griffith Park are horseback riding, swimming, tennis, soccer, pony rides, hiking and more. Beyond it's fine golf courses, Griffith Park has something for everyone making it my third hot pick for Los Angeles.
