Whether you're a professional golfer looking for the best tournaments or an amateur who enjoys hitting the links now and then, there are plenty of golf courses in the Finger Lakes region of New York. Beautiful scenery, lush grass and fancy amenities are common in this area of the country, but you don't have to be a millionaire to play.

The Silver Creek Golf Course is arguably the most popular golf course in the Finger Lakes region, and is located off East River Road in Waterloo, New York. This Par 35 course boasts a sinuous 18-hole layout that comes with an expansive outdoor deck and a club restaurant with excellent sandwiches. You can pay per play, or you can sign up for one of their extended packages.

Another great Finger Lakes golf course is the Crooked Pines course, which is located in Macedon, New York. They have 18 holes, a pro shop, a couples league, and a swim club for guests who would like to cool off after a long day of hitting the links. Single and Family passes also come with guest passes so you can invite your friends along for the ride.

And finally, the Ravenwood Golf Club in Victor, New York is one of the most prestigious golf courses in the Finger Lakes region. Named Third Most Difficult Course in New York State by New York Golf magazine, this course has plenty of opportunities for challenge, and reasonable rates besides.
