Golf Tips for the Worst Golfer in the Group

Rocky Hills
When you are a beginner in the game of golf, let's face it you are not going to be very good. Here are some things that you should consider when playing a round of golf with other players. These golf tips will help you make a more enjoyable game for everyone playing with you.

Let's look at the first thing that you should consider. Yes, it is a game and so the score is important but not if it is slowing down the other players. One of the things that you should consider it not to play the entire hole if your score is let's say about 10 strokes. If it gets that high your score isn't going to really matter so pick up your ball and wait for the next hole. It is a courtesy that the other players will appreciate.

Another point is that when you hit your ball into the high weeds don't have everyone come looking for it. In fact, if they offer to look tell them that you appreciate the fact that they are helping you but that you don't want to delay their game. You may even tell them to go ahead with their shots and you will just do a quick look. If you can't find it then more on.

Another point to remember is don't be a cry baby. It is only a game. No one wants to hear your sad story about your sad game. They can see it for themselves. They don't even want to know that you did really great last week when you play with the other guys and now you can't hit a darn thing. If you complain you are slowing down the game. And no one wants that to happen. So chin up and continue to play. In fact, a lot of times once you realize that your game can't get worse then just play for fun. Laugh at the bad shots and don't try to kill the ball. The ease and calm that you find yourself enjoying might actually improve your game.

The final point is this, don't try to discover what you are doing wrong. No one wants to see you figure out what could be wrong. No one wants to hear what you might do that might improve your swing. All this does is annoy the other golfers. If someone offers you some advice tell them thanks. Then try it without making a big deal about it.

So when you are at your worse on the course just remember these tips. If you are taking too much time, move faster or let the other golfers move on without you. Don't complain about your shots because no one wants to hear it. And finally when you are on the course playing the game that is not the time to try and discover a new way to hit the ball.

Just have fun, keep moving and don't complain. Three simple rules that will make even your worse golf game more enjoyable.
