Golfing in Spain

Jim Posey
Madrid has always been renowned for having an exuberant and amazing spirit that transcends cultures and make people feel welcome no matter where they come from. Spain is a tourist hotspot, with beautiful beaches complimenting the happening night life and culinary delights harkening back to all the old Spanish traditions. However, Spain is not well known for being a golf hot spot even though it has many fields of green rolling hills just perfect for the sport. Whatever the reason it is your opportunity to capitalize on the amazing golf courses while the prices are still low.

It is unfortunate for other people that they don't understand the great amount of potential of golfing in Spain. The gold clubs in Madrid are tucked away far from the hustle and bustle of the busy city life. Madrid's golf clubs have varying degrees of exclusivity that will make it hard for you not to find a club that will suit your level of income and prestige. There are many more golf clubs in Madrid to tailor to the non -country club crowd than other European metropolises.

The golf club De La Puerto de Hierro is an excellent resort sporting word class greens that makes it easy for the average golfer to get a quick game in while taking a break from the busy city life of Madrid. Most of the time you will be able to show up and get to play even though you have not made an appointment. This is pushing your luck though and you are better off trying to get away with it during the weekends.

If you are looking for a more prestigious golfing experience, than perhaps you should consider going to one of the championship layouts. The Real Sociedad Club De Campo is one of Spain's top ten courses. The real sociedad club de campo provides the elegant golfing experience that professional American golfers are familiar with when they travel. This golf course incorporates the best of Spain's golf with country club style facilities. There are other golf clubs that provide an elegant experience. The La Herreira golf course occupies some of the most beautiful territory in Spain.

Golfing in Spain can be a memory making experience for any golfing fan. Because Spain is not swinging the same prestigious golf courses as the U.S. you will be able to get better prices then at the more prestigious golf courses in America.
