Gonged by a Tornado

Twister of the Winds

LarrWayne Po

Gonged by a tornado,

Off the air for days,

Nobody can praise or hate

Words not yet written.

Why the delay?

I don't know.

Ask the twister of the winds.

Is my timing out of kilter

Or my kilter out of timing?

Words not needing to be said,

Have been the only ones rhyming.

Gazing out to think,

While dazed it seems,

Considering the losses.

The past no longer breathes.

What is important?

The air we breathe.

If you don't need that,

You don't need a drink.

Food and water are thirdary.

Yet even more,

Without the Spirit of life,

Are we stranded on the shore?
