Good Clean Fun Tattoo has been a fixture in Snellville, Georgia for a little over 10 years now. Owned and operated by renowned artist Dave Attonito, GCF is a breath of fresh air in the tattoo shop world. What strikes you the most when you first set foot in the shop is how clean and upscale the shop looks. This is definitely not your Grandpa's tattoo parlor. The tidy lobby area has very comfortable leather seating and is very well lit, showcasing all the art and flash on the walls. Dave has spared no expense in making his store a huge notch above all his competition. There is a hug stigma attached to tattoo shops that they are dirty and riddled with all sorts of infections just waiting to get under your skin. All those thoughts are immediately put to rest as soon as you step inside.

The Artists :
Dave Attonito : Dave originally hails from New York and started out in the advertising business before getting hooked on tattoos. He plied his trade in NYC before heading south to establish his own business. His artwork is incredible and that translates beautifully to his tattoo work. He can turn his hand to any piece you want done but his specialty is in black and grey especially horror portraits and images. Dave recently opened a second store in Stockbridge, GA and splits his time between both shops so call ahead to find out which location he is at.

Jamie : Has been with GCF since it opened in 1997 and has been in the business for almost 20 years. He spent most of his early years in upstate New York before joining Dave. Another great artist whose specialties are in traditional American and Japanese tattoos.

Guillermo : Originally hailing from Uruguay, Guillermo joined GCF in 1999 where he completed his apprenticeship and started tattooing full time one year later.

Trey : The newest member of the GCF team, Trey works at the Stockbridge store full-time and has spent most of his career in Georgia and Louisiana and has been tattooing since 2000.

It should be noted that in the past year Gwinnett County's, where the store is located, Health Department enforced tough new cleaning and sterilizing laws for tattoo shops. A lot of the stores complained and were slow to react but GCF were one of the first to comply with all the new rules an actually went above and beyond what was required so that they could offer customers the cleanest environment so that they could be tattooed worry free. So whether you are looking for your first or one hundred and first piece of ink, GCF is the place to go for a great tattooing experience and a piece of art that you'll be proud to wear on your body for years to come.

This is a great article. The shop sounds very clean. Tatoos and piercings can be very dangerous but knowing the place you are getting this done in is so clean takes some of the scaryness out of it.
