Good Eats in Silverdale, Washington

Located within the retail area of Silverdale, Washington - across Puget Sound from Seattle - are a variety of restaurants that provide good eats. Either take a break from shopping or hiking, and come enjoy! Here are some of my favorite places to enjoy a meal around this area.

Buffets that offer great tasting food, variety, and good prices are a hard combination to find sometimes. Not at Kings Wok Buffet. This good eats place offers a large buffet stocked with salads, desserts, soups, entrees, and side dishes. They even offer a soft serve ice cream, which is great. They offer Chinese cuisine. The egg drop soup here is scrumptious!

You can have the buffet, or you can order from the menu. They offer carry out, too. Their large soup containers are two meals in and of themselves!

The only drawback to this place is the fact that there is not a lot of parking. This good eats Chinese buffet is located on the corner in a small L-shaped strip.

Once inside, though, the place is huge. The atmosphere is pleasant with plenty of room to walk around in. There are banquet facilities available, if needed.

If you're in the mood for some Indian cuisine, I highly recommend Gandhi Cuisine of India. Every time I've been here, the food has been great. The curried chicken is fantastic. Plus, the serving sizes are ample. The menu is varied and fun to read.

The service is helpful and good. They are very knowledgeable about the menu items and take pride in their cuisine. That's nice to see.

The atmosphere is pleasant and comforting. Each table has a small bowl of rye seeds with Good 'n Plenty style licorice it. They also offer carry out. There is a lounge here, too.

If Mediterranean cuisine is what you're seeking, the best place in town is Aladdin's Palace. Besides the food being great here (the stuffed grape leaves are wonderful1), the service is excellent. I like the fact that the servers are knowledgeable about menu items. They handled my questions very well. They were pleasant to chat with. The atmosphere is comforting, too. Whoever did the interior designing here deserves an award. It's fantastic.

Another great place to go to for oriental style cuisine is found at Mongolian Golden Grill. Here, one can choose between ordering off the menu or from the buffet. The fresh food buffet, that is. Customers can choose what they want and watch as the chef cooks it up. It's nice to see.

Every time I've been to this good eats eatery the food has been tasty, fresh, and highly rated. I thought the prices were a little high at first. Then, I tasted the food and agreed it was worth the price. Plus, the buffet offers all you can eat.

Limited delivery is available here. Take out is offered, too. In addition, there is a lounge that has happy hour daily. Banquet facilities are available here, if needed.
