Good Health Natural Foods Olive Oil Potato Chips are packaged in a five ounce bag and retail for only $1.79 a bag. I found this to be a very good price for the serving size. The front of the package states that not only are the chips flavored with olive oil, the snacks also offer the seasonings of cracked pepper and sea salt. I am a lover of both of those seasonings, so I was naturally drawn to these chips. The picture on the front of the bag, which depicts a nice quantity of crispy potato snacks with a healthy amount of both sea salt and pepper certainly didn't dissuade me either.
These chips contain one hundred and forty calories per one ounce serving. The fourteen chip serving contains eight grams of Fat with only one gram of Saturated Fat. There is no Trans Fat in this product, which is a very good thing. There is zero milligrams of Cholesterol, ninety milligrams of Sodium and sixteen grams of Total Carbohydrate. There is also one gram of Sugar and two grams of Protein per one ounce serving. Additionally, there is twenty percent of the daily recommended value of Vitamin C in each serving as well as two percent of Iron. The amount of Sodium in these chips is equal to only about four percent of the recommended daily consumption of Salt. Not many potato chip brands can boast that they offer a notable amount of the necessary nutrient, Vitamin C in their product either. I consider both of these facts to be a real plus to this food product. These chips contain only four ingredients, Potatoes, Olive Oil, Cracked Pepper and Sea Salt. The lack of ingredients names that are hard to identify as well as pronounce is a real plus as well.
When I first tasted these tasty and flavorful crisps, I was hooked. The kettle style of the chips made them very light and crispy and the seasonings were ample and well distributed among all the chips in the bag. The sea salt and cracked pepper flavoring were evident in each and every chip. I thoroughly enjoyed these chips and definitely plan to purchase them again. These kettle style potato chips are perfect for snacking on while enjoying a cozy night at home or for adding to a holiday buffet of snacks and dips. I give this healthier chip option five out five food stars and definitely plan on purchasing them again.
