Good Ol Fashion Socialist Values

OK... The election has been over for a while now and the nation wanted change so we elected a new President. I can not help but ask though. When is the change going to be for the good? I'm sorry but I have been watching everything from a still sinking economy to the big cash for clunkers fiasco.

What happen to "I will bring the troops home" or put the economy back on track. All I have seen since the swearing in of our new President is a partial Government take over of the banking industry and now automotive as well, which buy the way has any one put much thought into the fact there is a reason some people have a vehicle valued at two thousand dollars but paid off. They might be comfortable out of debt! With the purchase of all these new vehicles under the big (cash for clunkers) are we not spiraling back to the same mess as before. Buy what you can not afford, keep it till the payments get behind then it goes back and the bank makes nothing while now holding a vehicle no one wants to buy because they are waiting out the economy/job decline.

Lets try and face a great big chunk of reality OK. Maybe this President is way in over his head and his advisor's might just be clueless as to where to lead him and this is why he is getting involved in other battles in the public eye.

We currently have a nation divided on this whole Health Care Issue. What is this about? People are literally coming to blows at these meetings over something that while it could use major improvements is now putting many seniors to worry if our Government is wanting to pull the plug on them or if you need a organ transplant will the government decide if your a contributing member to society to have one and keep on living.

Are we going to have to refit the flag to accommodate a cycle and compass? Other Nations are looking at us and probably saying to themselves, no need of an attack because they are self destructing on their own.

This is not a black or white issue or democrat or republican issue any more. This is becoming an issue that is someone does not do something soon the only next step is martial law being declared. People can not continue to be in constant worry of the economy and national debt along with an on going war which is draining the budget quicker than we can be taxed.

If we are going to pursue this war in Iraq or Afghanistan let's do the Country a big favor and figure out how we are going to save the broken families here of these Service Men and Woman who are slowly loosing everything they are fighting for.

It is time for our President to quit being a power speaker and start producing some results. We as a nation need to get involved and start sending our opinions thought our Congress and Senator's. I Love this Country and I want my children to be able to say the same while we are still one Nation under God.
