I would like to tell you about some cool places to visit in East Tennessee. Let's first start with Chattanooga. They have different attractions to see. You Come face to face with sharks, otters, gators, macaws and more as you journey from the mountains to the sea at the Tennessee Aquarium (www.tnaqua.org). Journey to places you've only imagined at the Imax 3D Theater. It has a six story screen. The experience is larger than life!

Experience the sights, sounds and taste of river life aboard Chattanooga's own Southern Belle Riverboat (www.chattanoogariverboat.com). Hop aboard the Tennessee Valley Railroad on a vintage train. They have daily rides, special events and all day excursions throughout the year (www.tvrail.com). At Lookout Mountain of Fun you get three great attractions at one low price, Ruby Falls, Rock City and the Incline Railway! Ruby Falls has a thundering underground waterfall and amazing views. Create memories to last a lifetime (www.rubyfalls.com). Enjoy a "mile of smiles' aboard the Incline Railway. Ride the world's stepest passenger railway up Lookout Mountain (www.ridetheincline.com).

Another good East Tennessee spot to visit is Knoxville. Home of the University of Tennessee. Get the spirit of the Big Orange at the University of Tennessee Football Hall of Fame Museum (www.utsports.com). In the downtown area you can see the Sunsphere, a structure designed for the 1982 World's Fair. Conveniently located in the World's Fair Park, 226 foot sunsphere offers a spectacular view of downtown Knoxville. At the Tennessee Riverboat Company you can come aboard the Star of Knoxville, a Mississippi-style paddlewheeler, for fun, food and excitement! They can show you Knoxville like nobody else can (www.tnriverboat.com). If you want to live in the past go to the Mast General Store that was around since 1883. Fill up your own basket with all kinds of different candy, some you haven't seen around in years. They sell it by the pound. Shop online at (www.MastStoreOnline.com). Experience wildlife with 800 fascinating animals at the Knoxville Zoo (www.knoxvillezoo.org).

Historic Jonesborough has a story to tell. It is Tennessee's oldest town. Since 1779 it has been the storyteller capital of the world. It is full of rich history, and family fun. They have live storytelling featuring a different storyteller each week (historicjonesborough.com). Visit Historic Jonesborough Carriage Tours. Take a carriage ride back in time. The rides are narrated throughout the district.

There is so much to do and see in Tennessee.
