Good Rap Songs

Rap music is a type of music in which rhyming lyrics are spoken. It falls under the hip-hop genre even though rap songs predate hip-hop music by centuries. Some good rap songs that you may want to check out are as follows.

"Dear Mama"

This song is by 2Pac on the rap album Me Against The World. It is about a man's love for his mother and how she was always right. It is a sweet, emotional song in which 2Pac reveals his heart.

"Gangsta's Paradise"

This song contains emotionally powerful lyrics that are rapped by Kanye West. This is a popular, well-known rap about racism and the struggle between good and evil. It took more than $1 million of West's own money to make three videos for this song, which can be found on his first album The College Dropout.
