Good for Rex Ryan as He Loves Ihaveprettyfeet

So, it was revealed today that Rex Ryan, and his wife Michelle Ryan (otherwise known as ihaveprettyfeet), enjoy participating in role plays that center around a foot fetish. Furthermore, the Ryans apparently enjoy videotaping their role plays and putting them out on the Internet for all to see.

In a series of tapes that surfaced online, Michelle Ryan stars in foot fetish oriented videos. In several, she is alone, massaging her feet while sitting in what appears to be the a living room. In others, she talks to a man, who is off camera, as they discuss how sexy and attractive her feet are. In at least two of the clips, the man, who clearly is Rex Ryan based on his voice, asks if he can smell her feet.

Michelle Ryan's videos were put out under the name, "ihaveprettyfeet" on youtube. A simple Internet search on "ihaveprettyfeet" reveals that somebody with the same name has been on several alternative lifestyle websites and forums.

While there is not exactly conclusive proof that all of the activity attributed to "ihaveprettyfeet" has Michelle Ryan behind it, it is difficult to connect the dots of the name, the profile information (which is close to the Ryans), and the pattern of activity, and not arrive at the conclusion that Rex and Michelle Ryan have been living one unconventional lifestyle. Through the evidence, at least as revealed today, the Ryans seem to be into a very open, kinky and "anything goes" lifestyle.

To all this, I say, "Good for the Ryans".

Now, I fully admit that as a New York Jets fan, I'm not thrilled that my team's head coach is allowing foot fetish videos starring himself and his wife escape onto Youtube. The team has had far more distractions than it should already this year; some are Rex Ryan's fault and some, such as the Brett Favre penis texting scandal, have nothing to do with him.

But in an era when we hear so much about extramarital affairs, ranging from the John Edwards debacle of a marriage to people like Kendra Wilkinson willingly separating herself from her husband and cashing in on it, it is refreshing to see a middle aged couple still devoted and loving, even if their lifestyle is questionable to most.

It seems the Ryans might be in some sort of open marriage. It seems definite that the Ryans enjoy some practices that many would deem perverse.

But what actually comes through in the videos is a sense of fun and attraction that too many marriages lack by the time the couple is in their 40's. The Ryans, while probably embarrassed over the airing of private moments, should be proud that there is still such a sense for the taboo...such a sense for one another.

While many, including myself, don't understand what a foot fetish is all about, I do understand love and desire when I see it. The videos released show two consenting adults acting naughty and enjoying one another in the process. Perhaps most are just jealous over what the Ryans have sustained...and jealous over how open and uninhibited they can be with one another.

Yes, the Youtube thing is probably not recommended for the head coach of the New York Jets. But maybe, when it's just the two of them, Rex Ryan doesn't care what people think about his 'abnormal' attraction to his "ihaveprettyfeet"'s feet. And maybe that means Rex Ryan is about as happy as a man could be.
